Ticket Types for MAHS Students

MAHS Student:

  • Ticket for currently enrolled Moon Area High School Student
  • Ticket may be denied due to attendance, behavioral records, financial obligations, or reasons determined by the administration.
  • Student ID number is required for purchase.
  • students attending the dance must be in school on January 26th to attend.  Absences on the 26th will only be excused with a medical note or documentation of an extenuating circumstance.

       Snowball Dance 2024

 
 
  • Date: Saturday, Jan. 27th, 2024
  • Time: 7:00 - 10:00pm   - Arrive at 6:30 to be checked in for the dance.
  • Location: The Fez - 2312 Brodhead Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001  (724) 378-1810
  • Each MAHS student must have a student id and emergency contact information to purchase a ticket.
                      Holiday Ball Rules and Regulations

Ticket sales will be Jan. 8th - 17th while tickets last.  This dance is for Moon High School students only.      

Ticket Cost:  $45.  This includes food. This ticket is non-refundable

To Purchase Tickets: 

  • Students must not have any outstanding obligations to the school district.  Students have been informed if they have any obligations. These need to be satisfied with Mrs. Connolly in the Main Office prior to ticket sales.  Also, check in the fee management section of Skyward or with Mrs. Connolly if you are not sure what your obligation is. 
  • No paper ticket will be issued. Your name will be at check-in and you must bring photo id (school ID or Driver’s License) with you for admittance to the dance.  You can also print out your own ticket as proof of purchase along with student ID.

Dress Code:

  • Suggested attire: dress pants with dress shirt, a tie, jacket and dress shoes, a dress, pant suit, or gown that is in good taste. 
  • The outfit may not be made (either partially or entirely) of a see-through material.
  • Strapless dresses are permitted; however, no open styles which show the entire back or stomach areas, are permitted.
  • All dresses must cover the midriff area completely. Two-piece dresses must completely overlap each other to be permitted. At no point should midriff skin be exposed. 
  • Front necklines shall not be lower than a line formed between the left and right armpit.
  • The dress length and all slits cannot exceed more than four inches from the top of the knee.
  • May not wear cargo pants, jeans, t-shirts, torn clothing, chains/spikes, sexually implicit or explicit clothing, shorts, hats and head coverings, bandanas, or items referencing alcohol or tobacco products.
  • Adjustments made at the door or during the dance (including pinning, the addition of a jacket, the addition of a body suit, pulling the garment up or down, etc.) will not be accepted as solutions for violations of the dress code. Students may be denied entry.
  • Any student or guest dressed inappropriately will be asked to leave and a refund will not be granted.
  • Any questions about dress code should be addressed to administration prior to the day of the dance. 

The following guidelines for student and guest conduct will be followed:

  • This dance is a drug and alcohol/tobacco/vape free activity. The use of such products will not be tolerated.  No front to back dancing will be allowed.
  • Students are not allowed to re-enter the dance upon leaving.
  • The dance runs from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. If you are attending the Snowball Dance it is expected that you attend the whole event. There are no early dismissals.
  • Participants will be removed from the premises with no refund for improper conduct, violations of rules, and/or refusal to comply with requests from staff and chaperones.   
  • Remember, this is a school event, and all school rules will apply. Anyone found in violation of any school rule is subject to further disciplinary action at school.
